Product description
Compared to the quartz fiber optic, the polymer plastic fiber has got a very big core diameter of 1mm.
In spite of the high transmission loss of 0,15db per fiber meter, the eks systems couple a sufficient quantity of light to bridge transmission paths of up to 150m. The easy handling of the POF cable and its competitive price compared to glass fiber allow the efficient use for short distances in control engineering, measuring, computer engineering and in switchboard construction.
