The interface module LCON-R is an optic and redundant Profibus system for AUMA drives.
The connection of too many units, too long transmission paths, emg-distortion and potential differences are still great problems in a network. The solution to that is optical data transmission.
The LCON-R allows creating redundant topologies. Failure between two LCON-Rs is detected and signaled with LEDs and failure relays. The participants are always available since they are connected and addressed via line structure. This also applies to a failure of the LCON-R system.
