Fiber optic System KS /-KSI
Product description
The communication system LWL-KS (9 pin SUB-D, snap mounting) works as an asynchronous, full duplex RS232 (V24) interface.
The system replaces any RS232 four-wire connections. Connected systems must be suitable for software-handshake (Xon/Xoff).
By connecting the fiber optic cable to other eks interface modules such as LWL-9N, LWL-KS, TTY-KS and LCOn-4, it is possible to convert the interface directly (if the system’s transfer rate and the protocol are equal)
The RS232 fiber optic multiplexer is able to transfer 8 asynchronous full-duplex data channels. This system allows RS232 connections with hardware-handshake.
