XSLAN Ethernet Extender

The XSLAN family of SHDSL switches enables remote Ethernet networks to be connected with a simple copper pair at data rates of up to 15 Mps. A wide range of Ethernet extenders are offered: Point-to-Point, Multipoint and 4 SHDSL line concentrators.

With the "By-Pass" function, the line is closed by a relay in case of voltage loss (electromechanical). The daisy-chain connection is bridged to the next subscriber.

If there is no possibility to close a daisy chain network in a ring, the "Loop VPN" allows a network redundancy via the Internet or a private MPLS connection at the ends of the network.
