The EL-1000-4G

The series EL-1000-4G are 5-, 6-, 8- and 10-Port unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Layer 2 switches. The switches have a small design with a dimension of 150 x 30 x 101mm (EL1000-4G 5Tx) or 165 x 30 x 101mm (all other devices). They are characterized by simple functionality and ease of use such as Auto-Negotiation and MDI/MDI-X, as well as an extended temperature range.

The flat design and the industrial housing offer an extremely high degree of flexibility for all kinds of indoor and outdoor applications. Up to 2 FX-ports are available, each having a SC or (on request) an E-2000® fiber optic connector. All systems can communicate via two or one fiber with the help of BIDI-technology with SC-connector.

Important performance features of the transfer with multimode or singlemode fibers are the electromagnetic ruggedness, the potential separation between the switches, as well as ranges up to 100 km between two fiber optic systems. LEDs and the potential-free contact of a fault detector relay are able to signal defective states.
